Sinful Offerings is a performative pilgrimage in collaboration with Al Cannington, Kalyn Heffernan, Jade Lascelles, & Tricia Waddell. It is inspired by the medieval pilgrimage practice of ex-votos in which sick/disabled pilgrims would leave their medical devices at the altar as devotional offerings. Visitors are asked to join this short pilgrimage, leave an item at the altar that no longer serves them, and partake in consuming the blood of Sanctus Medicus from a syringe.
